And so it is

We are a bit strapped for cash these days (as I'm sure many others are) and I've been trying to think of things I could do to earn a little extra on the side while not having to pay a babysitter but I have yet to come up with some stellar ideas. I thought about tutoring in math but when I looked on KSL.com to see how many other tutors there were there were hundreds (even with teaching degrees like me) so that looked doubtful. So I'm asking for your help. Any ideas for making a little extra money or do you know anyone that is need of a math tutor? I'm licensed to teach grades 6-12 but would prefer not to tutor in Calculus. My goal is to make $500-$600 a month but anything would help.

I say get your name out there for the tutoring thing. Won't hurt to try. Also, you could babysit other kids (wouldn't be my choice). Or get all creative like and sell stuff at etsy.com.

Hi Mindy- I couldn't say it better than Kyle- try anything. Also, you could consider cloth diapers. Diapers cost a ton and maybe that would save you money. I'm going to start doing it soon- not all the time, but most of the time. Good luck cuz! -tye
