Hot

According to weather.com the high yesterday was 99 degrees. Blasted hot, not to mention that I'm used to dry heat so with the humidity I feel like I'm always moist and sweaty. Good thing we have a pool. I don't think I'm going to last much longer without turning on the AC (we're trying to last as long as possible to keep energy cost down). Hopefully I'll get a job soon so I can escape to the nice air conditioned building.

That's disgusting. I'm sorry.

Dang and we thought it was hot here the last few days. Today, however, it is stinking cold. At least it rained so everything looks really green and fresh.
Thanks for sharing your 14yr old experience, I think many of us have done someting like that.
It had me laughing out loud. I am glad you were able to visit us before heading back to Texas!

I'm with you on the humidity thing. I don't like feeling wet and sticky. It's been between 75 and 85 around here, so I guess I can't complain!

Going to the pool may just in fact be the best part of your summer. I hear you on the humidity. When Matt and I went back to Iowa a couple of years ago in August... I couldn't figure out why I was sweating so bad... just from walking around the state fair. Later I figured out it wasn't all sweat... a lot of it was humidity. Well it was so bad I had to change my shirt after only wearing it for about 3 hours. Good luck on the job search!
